It has subtle brogue work and no toe medallion. It has a touch more elegance and dash than a standard cap-toe oxford, and can lift a suit ensemble just that little bit. Named after Lachlan Macquarie, the 5th Governor of New South Wales, this shoe is perfect for the Australian gentleman who works in the city, but has a bit of conservative flair. The Macquarie 2 is built on the updated 379 last, a classical round toe with comfortable heel.
